What kind of boats do you rent
Do you require a rental deposit?
Yes. A $300 deposit is required. Provided there is no damage to the rental, your $300 will be returned at the end of your rental period, minus gas and oil use.
Do I need to reserve a boat?
Yes. Our marina is busy and on a beautiful summer day, our rentals go quickly. Give us a call.
What time can we pick up our rental?
Our boathouse opens at 8:00 am, but you can arrive whenever you are ready and your boat will be waiting. The dock attendant will provide you with operating instructions and set everyone up with safety vests.
What time do we need to return our rental?
We ask for our rentals to be back at the boathouse between 4:30 and 4:45 pm. We close promptly at 5:00 and the dock attendant will need to refuel the boat, return your deposit, and give you your copy of the rental agreement. If you arrive after hours, you will be charged a late fee. However, if you are renting for more than one day and you have another dock (at your place of stay) you do not have to return your boat every day.
Can we cancel our rental?
Yes. If you call 7 days (one week) prior to your rental date, we will refund your deposit. Less than 7 days and we will not refund your deposit.
What if it's raining on the day of our rental?
Oh, how we wish we could control the weather! But we can’t. Check the weather forecast for Long Lake up to 7 days prior if you are concerned about inclement weather.

Do you do 1½ day rentals?
We do not reserve 1½ day rentals. But if it’s 12:00 (noon) or after, you can call or drop by to see if we have something available. Call us for 1½ day rates.
Can we bring our dog on the boat?
Yes. We love dogs too! However, if the rental comes back with lots of dog hair and is covered in sandy paw prints, you will be charged a $100 cleaning fee. Please do not allow your pup on the upholstered seats because claws can damage the vinyl. And for everyone’s safety please keep your furry four-legged family member on a leash on our property and docks.
Do you rent canoes, kayaks or paddle boards?
We only rent 17′ heavy aluminum Grumman canoes. They are wide and sturdy, which is perfect for camping at one of Long Lake’s many lean-tos.
Do you rent water skis or tubing equipment?
Yes. Call us to reserve either or both packages.
How much will gas cost us for our rental?
That depends greatly on the number of people on the boat, how fast you want to go, engine size, etc. These are all factors in fuel consumption. Your rental starts with a full tank of gas, and you pay for what you’ve used when you return.
